Babson Entrepreneurs Doing Right By and for Customers
They say that entrepreneurs are created when they experience an unmet need. Once the Babson student or graduate makes the decision to change the status quo, he or she reaches out to as many available resources, to make the entrepreneurial passions come to life. At Babson College, not only are these passions nurtured, a collaborative community is encouraged for the greater good of the potential customer.
On Monday, December 14 thru Sunday December 20, 2009, two new ventures, La Capoise Galerie and BuyWithMe, will come together to offer consumers a "Great Deal" that will help them stimulate this economy.

La Capoise was created by Jodi-Tatiana Charles as an alternative to online photo galleries and studios that moved away from telling the stories of the customer who creates the lifelong memories. Her goal is to illustrate people, places, and cultures. Images will have the reader take a second look or a prolonged first look because there is so much more in any photo than a family posing, a child sleeping, an artist at work, or a meal being prepared.
Prior to her MBA at Babson College, Jodi amassed a wealth of creative and managerial experience. She managed and coordinated the Massachusetts Conference for Women, a one day event that provides a forum for more than 7,500 women. Jodi also served as the Deputy Press Secretary to Governor Mitt Romney, NECN Producer of the award winning program NewsNight (hosted by Chet Curtis and Jim Braude), and as Associate Producer for the legendary WXKS radio program The Matty in the Morning Show.

Josh Elwell started a neighborhood baseball card business when he was five years old, so it was no surprise when he chose to attend Babson College; the # 1 ranked business school for entrepreneurs, and served as CFO of a student-run business as part of the curriculum. After graduating summa cum laude from Babson with a degree in Finance, Josh began his career as a Financial and Accounting Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. He then became a CFA charterholder member, moving into the investment industry with analyst positions for hedge funds at Flagg Street Capital and Brightpoint Capital, which is part of HIG capital.
As CEO of BuyWithMe.com , Josh uses his financial background to negotiate amazing deals for customers, and his entrepreneurial spirit envisions continued growth to every major market. His favorite deals are outdoor activities, but since Boston’s weather is unpredictable, he loves indoor activities too!
